CCS talked about Circular Economy at the Global Waste Management Conference, 1-2 August 2017, Bangkok, Thailand.
Ms. Dinh Thao Hoa, an officer from the Project Development team of CCS, delivered a speech on the topic “Business Opportunities in the Circular Economy” as a contribution to the two-day Global Waste Management Conference 2017 held in Bangkok, Thai Land from 1-2 August 2017.

The Global Waste Management Conference 2017 was designed to work on waste disposal through economically feasible methods; exchanging local and international experiences in the field of recycling and waste management and reviewing the modern methods, technologies and solutions for good management of industrial, medical and municipality waste. Coming from all walks of life, the 20 speakers participated in the conference brought about many great ideas and experiences in resource management, circular economy business models, clean technologies and making new life cycle for wastes. “It is the matter of resource efficiency management and economic initiatives in managing amount of wastes under control, it is not the matter of waste processing itself” said Mr. Menon from the UN Environment regional office. Ms. Hoa from CCS also stated the importance of implementing Circular Economy business models and embedding innovation in the company’s business culture. Her presentation including successful stories of Vietnamese enterprises in applying circular economy made a good impression in the participants.
