Update on the i-nature farm model implementation in Ba Vi

After about 6 months of official implementation, the zero-waste organic agriculture model core farm at Phu Son- Ba Vi has now achieved certain success. For example, the cultivation land area has been extended to approximately 4000 m2 and still continuing to expand 1hectare more; the productivity of vegetables is increasing each month with higher quality, and the Automatic irrigation system has been installed for the entire area of arable land and are currently operating well.

Livestock breeding by organic method is being experimented and the results are quite positive. More than 150 muscovy ducks were raised in the pilot phase accordance to organic farming method since October 2016 and  being sold each week. Technical team of i-nature has completed the documentation on organic fish farming, chicken and pig breeding, and next is the plan for livestock lodge design.

The farm is renovating to welcome guests to visit and learn in the i-nature farming tourism program (farm tours).

In the future, i-nature will promote cooperation and technical transferring to create a sustainable ecosystem for the environment in Vietnam.
